My first experience of hydrofoil surfing in Amami!! If you participate as a group of two, the cost is 2 yen (26,000 yen per person). If you participate as a single person, the cost is 13,000 yen. Hydrofoil surfing is a new sport that uses a special device that floats on the water, and can be said to be an evolution of surfing. In this sport, you can glide through the water using a wing called a hydrofoil attached to the bottom of the board. The hydrofoil reduces water resistance and allows you to glide at high speeds, so you can experience an amazingly smooth glide. Hydrofoil surfing can be enjoyed on lakes and rivers without waves, and is attracting attention as one of the new water sports. At our company, we start by teaching hydrofoils on calm seas near a harbor with no waves, towing them with a jet ski. The instructor will be Kazbo rider Kapono Fukuda, the All Japan Wingfoil Slalom Champ.
SUP Snorkeling Enjoy SUP and snorkeling at the same time!
After receiving a lecture on SUP, you will try SUP. After that, you will go cruising and look for sea turtles. When you find a sea turtle, the instructor will give you a snorkeling set, put it on on the board and enter the sea. The instructor will check the location of the sea turtle, so swim to it while pulling the board and observe the sea turtle there. Do not touch the sea turtles. Please do not touch them. We are just visiting their living space, so let's observe!
